We are doctors, dentists, orthodontists, speech therapists, audiologists, health educators, nurses, and regular volunteers who work to provide dental care, orthodontia, as well as surgical repair of cleft lips/cleft palates for children in Mexico who might otherwise receive no care. We are licensed, credentialed professionals from Mexico and the U.S. We are affiliated with Loma Linda University, and UCLA. We provide continuity of care; we see patients as infants and will continue to provide proper care as the patient grows until the defects are repaired. We have commitment. We have been providing services since 1985. We have treated over 1000 patients needing cleft lip repair, and many more are receiving dental care as well. By caring for children with cleft lip/cleft palate and those without access to dental care, we hope to create thousands of more smiles.

So for this first subtitle sojourn, we will have Portuguese subtitles. Actually, Brazilian Portuguese, which is its own category separate from European Portuguese, at least in the world of subtitles. These subtitles were created at the behest of the Rock Horror Film Festival in Rio de Janeiro.

So, Rockstar just posted on Facebook that GTAV will have subtitles in Brazilian Portuguese (insert thanks-Rockstar here). Maybe this is because MP3 was set in Brazil. Or maybe there'll be subtitles in other languages aswell.

Fisciletti, IV also had subtitles in several languages such as spanish, french, german (not sure). They just realized that their brazilian fanbase is as big as the spanish/french/german ones, or even bigger. Anyways thanks so much for Rockstar Games, these subtitles will help a lot of people from here who can't understand english (like my little cousin who annoys me with questions regarding mission objectives haha).

Fortunately, every GTA had German subtitles, especially for the time when I was in my teenage years. Now I would get almost everything without them, but sometimes it's good to have subtitles when I am driving in a car with radio on and a person is talking to the protagonist in heavy dialect.

Speaking of language immersion! Turn off English subtitles (or those in your mother tongue) every time you watch Portuguese or Brazilian films or TV shows. If anything, put on Portuguese subtitles (when available).

You can stream everything from news programs and travel shows to telenovelas and comedies with interactive Portuguese subtitles that you can click on to get real-time translations of words and phrases.

I have to give Kudos to Rafael at DayTrader Pro for this interview with Gary Norden - mostly because I've never seen anyone squeeze so much information from Gary in one session. Great topics covered and great counter-questions from Rafael on Gary's answers. It's in English with Portuguese subtitles.

Merab is a young man whose goal is to dance with the National Georgian Ensemble. He is thrown off balance when a new dancer named Irakli joins the troupe and a romantic relationship develops between them. It was Sweden's official selection for Best International Film for the Academy Awards. The filmmaker Levan Akin is Swedish, of Georgian descent. Akin was inspired to make the movie after seeing a news story about a small group of LGBTQ activists facing a violent attack for organizing the first pride parade in Tbilisi. The dancing is exciting and culminates in a strong statement about inclusion and freedom. In Georgian, with English subtitles.

Maybe the strangest movie of the year, this political/social satire from Brazil won the Jury Prize at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. The story centers on a diverse group of people defending their small town against mercenary foreigners. The filmmakers cleverly blend western and sci-fi genres and make good use of their talented ensemble cast, with international star Sonia Braga totally on board for the ride. Be warned, there is a slow burn to graphic violence. However, the intentional narrative resonates for this moment. In Portuguese, with English subtitles.

Via gorgeous animation, director Masaaki Yuasa (Lu Over the Wall) brings to life Hinako, a surfing-loving college student, and Minato, a skilled fireman. The two seem inseparable until Minato drowns to save another. But magic is at work and Hinako begins to appear to Minato in the water. This anime managed to break my heart and make me smile. It is easily on my top-10 anime list.

DEAN RUSK: Well, I might be wrong in this, but my impression has been over theyears that the black Africans have proved themselves to be quite resistant tooutside ideological penetration. We found that out; the Russians found that out;the Chinese found that out. They will listen and they will smile and shrug theirshoulders and then go off and do it in their own African way. And so I have not01:01:00been very much concerned about Africa as a scene for the Cold War.

This video about what makes Finns happy, is two minutes and 20 seconds in length. The video can be downloaded with no captions, or with English, German, French, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, Norwegian, Danish, Swedish, Arabic, Japanese, or Chinese subtitles. 041b061a72
